The makers hide the code on a sticker in an inconspicuous place. They used to put it on a hinge in the trunk, the hood, or inside the doorjam cavity. You would need the original Code anyway to change to a new chosen one.
Finding this for you is a small service for a Dealer to provide. Your Lincoln is also about 5 years old and has a longer Warranty, but this is a small favor to do for a customer. Ask them if they can find it or if it is linked to your Vin#.
Unfortunatly only the dealer can help you on this, you might be able to get a locksmith to get you in the truck. The dealers don't and won't give out information to just anyone on how to get into a locked car from the keypads.
Unfortunately you will need to goto your local ford dealer and they will have to cut you a new key and reprogram the new key and possibly your old key unless it is definitively the master key. It is a worthwhile expense and if you have a keyless entry keypad and do not know the code they can also give that to you then since they will be in the computer. Hope this helps.
To program the fob; close all doors, unlock with door switch, turn key from off to on (without starting car) 8 times, ending in the on pos, the locks should lock and unlock then press the lock button on the fob, turn the key back. That should do it, if you get nothing, replace the battery in the fob. The keypad code is only retrievable through a scan tool. The dealer will charge a half hour to do that even though it takes less than 5 mins.
Take your car to an independent Mercedes Benz Mechanic Let your dealer know you will no longer be using him for you cars service. The SRS is for your airbag system and is unable to deploy on a low battery have your NEW mechanic reset this when your battery is charged
you will have to get a dealer to cut new keys to code that dealers have access to and then get them to program to car but also erase old keys so vehicle wont start with old keys
or next more expensive option is new keys, ignition barrel and door barrels replaced which are differently same coded key and locks as well as programming and erasing old keys.
Unfortunately I believe that will require a trip to the dealer, and a hefty price tag to go with it. Most dealers refuse to let anyone else handle their security systems. And most keys have the alarm keypad built in making it even more dealer specific. I wish I could give better news.
