Dirty injectors, bad map sensor, intake manifold dirty, vac leak. Trace backward from vac lines , intake manifold , injectors and map sensor. Map senors and injectors can be expensive. opt for cleaning first and see if it makes a difference
It means that the engine is running lean which can cause engine knock. When the knock sensors detect excessive knock they set the check engine light.
Low fuel pressure.
Dirty fuel filter.
Dirty or bad MAF sensor.
Bad MAP sensor.
Vacuum leak.
Bad injector.

You has a vacuum leak on the engine.
In order to troubleshoot this, you must start with a clean engine wipe down.
The major offender parts are
air intake gasket on the manifold
air tube after the mass air flow sensor
rubber seal under idle air control IAC motor

Warm up the engine for 15-20 minutes (LEAVE THE engine at idle) then spray a little Barmen carburetor clear on the potential air leak location (ONE AT A TIME) and listen for a surge in rpm.
If the engine speed go higher that's mean the carburetor clean (ADDITIONAL FUEL) got into your engine and that's the gasket you need to change.
There may be multiple leaky spots so take your time and check all rubber gaskets, sensor and hose that are lead into the intake manifold.
When you finish fill up with one tank of Chervon to clean out the injectors.
Please post more information after your inspection.

If you don't address it, it will be more serious as in burnt valves, burnt up converter, possibly more engine damage. Get it repaired. Probably needs just a tune up, but needs to be checked to be sure.

Codes that tell you your engine is running lean can be caused by a number of things. First thing to do (and cheapest) is to get some fuel injector cleaner and run it for awhile. Dirty injectors can cause these codes. I recommend lucas brand myself but there are several different cleaners to choose from. The second thing is checking your vacuum lines. If there is a leak it can cause the engine to **** in too much air and cause the codes. Anything beyond that gets into alot of mechanical work and should be done by a certified technician

A flashing light indicates that the engine is misfiring enough to damage the catalytic converter, this needs attention ASAP, otherwise after the misfiring is repaired, you will be buying a new catalytic converter, the damage may have already been done. as for the p1633 has the battery run low and you had to jump it off, or recharge the battery?
