On what? 3 possible ways the rear seat cushion is removed. On some the seat has clips that lift straight up. Or some have 2 small bolts at front bottom of rear cushion. Remove the bolts and seat slides out easily. The final way is old style: a heavy wire on bottom of cushion, one on each side, fits into slots that come up from the frame underneath. To remove, push cushion hard to the rear until the heavy wires can be removed (lifted up) from the slots. Do one side at a time. These are the most difficult to remove the rear bottom cushion. You have to push hard against the cushion near the bottom of it, pushing it backwards, so the wire comes out of the slot, and then cushion can be removed.
First try lifting straight up on the cushion. Since there is an access panel to the gas tank, it is very possible the cushion is easily removed by lifting straight up.

SOURCE: Renault clio fuel pump under the back seat; how do
first disconnect the fuel lines but be carefull their might be some pressure in the line. your supposed to use a special tool that fits over the black ring that goes around the top but you can use a big screwdriver and a hammer jus tap the black ring anti clockwise untill you can use your hand to unscrew it.
SOURCE: how do you remove fuel pump thru access hole under
just finished one on my 99 cougar... remove the back seat, take out the rubber ring that has the fuel pump wires running through it. on the end of the wires is a clip that has to be removed before you can unplug it... it is metal... you just pull straight out to the side and it will come out... then remove the plug from top of fuel pump.... then feel directly to the right is a nother plug that has to be unplugged.... then with a long screwdriver (flat head) and a hammer knock the keeper ring clock wise to get it out from under the tabs.... slide the rings down the fuel lines... NOTE: THESE LINES ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED..... Pick fuel pump housing up out of tank and remove the pump, and replace with new one.... you may have to drop the fuel tank a little to pick it up out of tank... that's easy too... crawl up under it make sure it is on jack stands and the emergency brake pulled, and in park.. chalk the front wheels just too make sure it doesn't move.. then on the front of the tank there is two bolts one on each side.. remove them and tank will drop down enough to do job.... hope this helps
De-pressurize the Camry's fuel system. With the gas cap open (to release pressure in that location), open the fuse/relay panel under the hood and remove the relay labeled "C/OPN." Start the engine and let it run until it stops. Disconnect the battery's negative cable.
Detach the rear seat from the car. Lift up the front edge of the seat bottom cushion, disconnect the mounting bolt underneath and remove the cushion. Pull up the seat back locks, flip the seat backs down and remove the mounting bolts.
Remove the service hole cover from the floor under the seat concealing the fuel pump/sending unit.
Disconnect the fuel line and electrical connectors from the fuel pump unit. Remove the retaining bolts and withdraw the unit carefully out of the fuel tank.
Release the clips on the fuel pump assembly's plastic support with a screwdriver to remove the support. Then pull off the rubber isolator, remove the fuel sock filter and disconnect the electrical connector from the top of the assembly. You can now withdraw the fuel pump from the housing.
Connect the new fuel pump into place on the assembly housing. Reassemble the fuel pump/sending unit in order, from the electrical connector to the fuel sock filter, rubber isolator and bottom plastic support.
Place the pump unit back within the fuel tank and reattach the bolts. Reconnect the electrical connectors and the fuel line. Reattach the rear seats.
Replace the "C/OPN" relay, reconnect the negative battery cable and fill the fuel tank if it is empty.
Pressurize the Camry's fuel system by turning the ignition on for a couple of seconds. Then turn it off for ten and repeat this five to ten times.
