If the level is going down, it must be going someplace. There are only a few places it might go:
Wheels. Calipers can leak or a bleed valve may be leaking.
Master Cylinder. Under the hood.
Power brake booster. Could be leaking into the vacuum line, and getting consumed by the engine. Look for smoke out the exhaust after braking or going down a hill.

It could be running out the front of the master cylinder into the brake booster. Unbolt MC and ease it back to see if fluid is present. If not, check rear brake drums.

Bleed jcb 2cx brakes

-You mean how to bleed brake fluid...?
If so. Here is a basic to do. (Doesn't matter front or rear)
-Most car's bleeder screws fit 10mm combination wrench.
Here thing that you need:
-Wrench
-A jar (Glass or plastic. Doesn't matter)
-A Clear vinyl tubing 1/4" inside diameter by 12" to 18"
-a helper.
-A bottle of new brake fluid. (Buy the big one)
Now locate the bleeder screw, lose it then tight it back just little to prevent leaking. (Only lose DO NOT TAKE IT OUT)
-Hook up the tube to it, 1 end into the jar.
-Ask helper to press brake pedal all the way to the floor then HOLD right there and lose the bleeder screws to let the fluid come out then tight it BEFORE RELEASE THE PEDAL.
Repeat this step until you see clear fluid come out. You're done this one. Then go to the next one.
MAKE SURE CHECK THE RESERVOIR VERY OFTEN. DO NOT LET IT RUN OUT OF FLUID!!! If it has ABS YOU'LL HAVE BIG TROUBLE.
Here the fast way to do. Empty the fluid reservoir and fill new one before bleed the system.

Good Luck

97 legacy front calipers locked up @random fluid not returning to the reservoir. Is there a valve that is keeping the fluid in calipers or can I bypass the hydraulic unit. If let cool fluid returns

Calipers do not retain brake fluid, you apply the brake ...the pressure is transmitted to the cylinders in the calipers and they act on the pads

Sounds like you need a braking system diagnostic of you are losing brake fluid and experiencing lock up. Sounds like it should be looked into immediately .....just in case

Geo tracker brakes

lose the fittings at the master cylinder, you should have two of them , one for the front brakes and one for the rear, get a friend to push the brake pedal ( not too hard, be careful they may spay all over) ; and see if any fluid is coming out with his pedal down tight the fittings back with the pedal down,so you don't get any air in the lines. If nothing comes out you have a bad master cylinder.

1992 olds regency ninty eight. Break pedal seems to go down futher than it should when applying. when stopped at a light brake pedal seems to slip going further down some. Checked for leaks on brake lines...

if master cylinder is bad. the pedal will go to floor running or not.when the pedal goes down at a standing stop it is usually the master cylinder thats bad. and losing vacuum. thats if there are no other leaks at wheel cylinders etc. if putting on a new master cylinder, do not forget to bench bleed it! heres how. put the master cylinder in the vise, fill it full of fluid then pump the plunger with a dowel or something soft as to not ruin plunger part.do not let it run dry ! when fluid comes out from master cylinder and no more air is in it. fill it up and put on car. heres what I do! remove the lines from old cylinder on car. as long as you do not lose any fluid doing this, there is no need to bleed air from brakes when done. after on car make sure master cylinder is full of fluid. start the car and pump the brakes a few times, then you should be all set.

My Transmission, 97 Taurus Wagon, is leaking. We cant determine where. Can You Help?

Be sure to check your engine coolant as well, the trans is cooled via the radiator, so you may be losing ATF there. Where does the fluid appear to be coming from? You can use a can of brake cleaner to wash down the trans underneath, and blow dry with compressed air. Maybe once its cleaned off, you will be able to determine where the leak is coming from.

97 Altima dashboard brake light stays on

Check your brake fluid level in the engine compartment. Its located on the rear RH side of the engine compartment, its a white/clear resevoir connecting to a large black circular object. If the fluid is low, fill to proper level, also I would recommend having your brake system checked as there may be a leak. If the fluid is fine and at the proper level, you may have a damaged/broken brake fluid level sensor or damaged/broken Emergency brake switch. Hopefully this helps....please rate thanks!!
