Code 7ea 7a8 on my car I went out to get in my car and the das lights were on also park lights were on what are this codes for

Those are typically ECU addresses...... 7EA and 7EB are response addresses HVECU and the Traction Battery

these are not codes read your manual on how to use your scanner ---recheck codes and keep going to next step after what you gave as code those just show that codes were present

7EA is not a trouble code. Some OBD scanners display this code when it needs more info, such as which component group to check. Your best bet mite be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.

Those codes mean the reader you are using is the wrong one. Make sure it is CAN OBD 2

That is what they call a "generic" code. Some OBD11 or OBD2, "same thing", scanners will give a $7E8 and $7EA. together and maybe a $7E9.
These are for a sub menu. Click on each one separately and you should or might get a regular "P0" code if your scanner
has the supported module. If not either get a better scanner or
go to a "big box" auto parts store and they will scan it for free and
should be able to give you more information.

- Check for cracks in muffler.
- Check air leaks.
- Check back pressure of the tail pipe.
