1996 buick le sabre code P0102A stalling engine

Basically this means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit. A more technical description would be that the MAF circuit had lower than expected voltage (air flow). Other MAF sensor circuit DTC trouble codes are P0100, P0101, P0103, and P0104.

Symptoms: You will likely not notice any serious drivability problems, although there may be symptoms such as a general decrease in power or sluggishness.

Causes: A code P0102 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
The MAF may be disconnected, or a wiring connection may be bad
The MAF may be dirty or otherwise contaminated (Note: if you use a reusable oiled air filter, be careful not to apply too much oil or that can contaminate the MAF).
The MAF sensor may be faulty
The vehicle computer may be faulty (very rare)

Possible Solutions: The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back. Then start with the cheapest, easiest repair procedures:
Verify that the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires.
Inspect for any air leaks near the MAF sensor.
Take the MAF out and clean it using a spray cleaner such as brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner. Be gentle with the sensor.
Check the voltage of the MAF sensor (refer to a repair manual for vehicle specific information)
Replace the MAF sensor.

P0102 and P0103 here is the definition MAF low input and MAF high input, when you disconnected it you set the high input that is you, Low input well the circuit internally or externally is broken, you ll need a new MAF and that all there is to it, I know I have to say check this and that and not be so direct but use common sense A ECM total blind sided failure and broken circuit can be the cause go to a dealer go to a shop do this and do that Here replace mass air flow sensor its black smoke black smoke is MAF reference voltage less the 1 vlts that is low input full injector pulse width or high input 5vlt reference full injector puilse width

I am getting 4 codes on my 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe 4 cyl p0113, p0103, p0325, p0128. So looking at what could be the issue i am coming up with all kinds of issues here from Cat ($900.00), Spark Plugs,...

I would start with the cheapest and easiest repair first which is to replace the spark plugs first and then clear the codes and see if the other codes come back up again. Sometimes one problem will cause a host of other issues, so do the cheapest process of elimination first.

Make sure that there are no leaks, on your duct hose..where the MAF is located..because if you are getting too much air..the MAF, will try to adjust to it, and it will throw your injectors out of wack, and then you will have a code...stating that you are running too rich, or lean, and then your plugs will foul out, because of too much gas, or not enough...and then it will trickle down to your O2 senors..it's a big chain reaction when it comes down to the MAF sensor...but check your Duct....

Possibly could be the O2 sensor (the one before the cat up front).
I'd search for a vacuum leak since you may have rattled something loose.

It sounds like they have got the distributor out of time. You will need to adjust the distributor. That is what it sounds like.
