if nothing comes on check the battery has a charge and that the alternator belt is intact. If they are both fine check the fusebox has not suffered damage. Does anything come on when you turn the key? Sounds a bit odd but the battery/alternator is where you should make a start
Sounds as if your battery might be dead. If your alternator quit charging and you used all of the power in your battery, you car would act as you have described.
Almost sounds as if the steering wheel wire harness is disconnected! All those things are bundled into a harness that is connected at the factory when the steering wheel is installed. The connection is probably inside the car under the dashboard. Be blessed.
Can you give more details towards what you see and have done or checked? Is the battery dead? Did you check to see if the steering wheel is pulling against the ignition lock. Maybe the wheel needs to be turned one way or the other to take the pressure off the locking mechanism.
the amber light is not for the door locks its for the security system, there must be a issue there, either a bad BCM or a BAD PASSLOCK housing,,,it needs to go to dealer to find out which one, right now its in theft mode and it cuts the fuel off,,,
