1053 is a oxygen sensor code and from what I can gather 1026 points to a faulty Electronic Throttle Module (ETM) I strongly suggest you go to a certified repair facility since the ETM must have a software download when replaced. The ETM is also your problem with no pedal response since it has not set the pedal or Pedal Position sensor code.
Possible answer. You will need to dig through potential answers. Most dealers will credit a $100 diagnostic fee to repair charges. If this is emissions issue it may be the most effective investment.
I googled and this is result after the internal code search.

Rather than the complete valve body it may just be connections to the throttle position indicator sensor or it's equivalent. Cleaning connections to bright metal contacts between sensor spades and the connector to remove corrosion on my 93 volvo 240. Returned to normal operation. I suspect road salt or sea salt will cause similar issues in a shorter time.
