How do i change brake pads on a 2009 hyundai elantra

That was a close description but not exact. There are no "pins" that need to be removed. You can re lube the sliding pins the caliper bolts go into but they do not have to be removed to replace pads. The brake hose does not need to be detached and neither the front or rears on the '09 need to be "turned" in; they just push in. Some model years do turn to retract but not the '09.

The pads both front and rear are notoriously tight but work OK. I do lube them well. I do not use the OEM shims. Most replacement pads have shims attached.

I have a 2003 hyundai elantra. Both the ABS and TCS lights are on. I don`t know what to do.

This is most likely a problem in your ABS control module. Have it checked, after you check the brake pads for wear. The TCS warning will sometimes come on when the ABS brakes fail to function correctly or the pads are worn too far. This is caused by a brake not releasing as it should or if the caliper is extending too far to properly stop the vehicle. I would not delay in having this checked out as it could lead to brake failure.
