If you are using an after market motor they may not line up. MAke sure you have the clock position for the holes properly. You may have to try another motor from a different manufacturer.

Remove the rear coolant recovery reservoir mounting stud.
Disconnect the cooling tube from the blower motor.
Disconnect the electrical connector
Remove the 5 blower motor and tan assembly mounting bolts
Remove the blower motor and fan assembly Reverse procedure to install. Don't forget that cooling tube. It looks useless but is very important to reinstall.
I'll tell it's not the blower motor , it's the blower motor control processor . It's mounted to the blower motor case or heater box . Search from over 10 Million Auto Parts
if its in the way yes...But the resistor is usually mounted within the blower motor box. Wires powering up the blower motor is coming from the resistor. Follow those lines!!
either your blower motor went bad or the blower motor resistor. what you can do is pull the plug from the blower motor and hook direct power from the battery and a ground, if the blower works replace the resistor the resistor will be mounted to the heater box close to the blower motor .follow the wires from the blower to the resistor. hope this helps
Removal & Installation
CAUTION
The Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system must be disarmed before removing the blower motor assembly. Failure to do so may cause accidental deployment of the air bag, resulting in unnecessary SIR system repairs and/or personal injury.
Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable, then wait 2 minutes before proceeding with the removal. This will effectively disable the air bag system preventing possible personal injury.
Remove the glove box from the instrument panel.
The blower motor is located behind the glovebox, behind the blower motor cover
Remove the A/C-heater blower motor cover.
Disconnect the blower motor wiring connector.
Remove the blower motor wiring grommet and feed the wiring through the blower motor housing.
Remove the blower motor mounting screws.
Once the cover is removed, unplug the electrical connector and push it through the opening in the housing
The blower motor is secured to the housing with three small screws
Allow the blower motor assembly to drop downward to clear the instrument panel and remove from vehicle.
To install:
Place the blower motor assembly into position on the A/C-heater unit and tighten the mounting screws.
Route the blower motor wiring through the blower motor housing and seat the wiring grommet in the hole of the blower motor housing.
Reconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
Install the A/C-heater blower motor cover.
Install the glove box into the instrument panel.
Reconnect the negative battery cable. Check blower motor operation.
The low speeds(all of them) are distributed threw the fan speed switch to the blower motor resister.The resister is the problem.It is located very near the blower motor.It has two screws mounting it to the blower box.It has a plug in with about 5 to 7 wires.Unplug this plug to the resister.Remove the screws.Pull the resister toward you,it mounts and rest inside of the blower case,this is how it is cooled.Now when you replace the resister,replace the blower motor.Even if the bower motor is running fine, it is pulling to many amps for the resister.It will happen again soon,if you don`t replace the blower motor.If I can help you any more,please let me know.
