More likely coolant from the heater lines or core.

Pressurize the cooling system with the engine off and dive under the steering wheel with a flashlight. . .

Thanks, that's what I'm hoping. It started with a foggy window and has turned into a leak that cannot be found. I'll go try that now.

SOURCE: leak onto floor passenger side from neck of ac drain through firewall

It's not your heater core. If your heater core is out it would leak antifreeze. My wife's 97 Grand Cherokee had the same problem. It is condensation from your AC coming leaking through a round hole in the AC unit at the firewall. Pull the carpet back and dry out underneath it, there will be a lot of water and we had to leave the carpet pulled back with a fan blowing on it all weekend to dry out. I fixed this about 8 years ago so if I remember correctly, the was a plastic part of the AC at the firewall that had a hole in it that the water was coming out of, I could see leaves and debris in the hole so I know it was part of the drain system. I cleaned out what debris I could and used a cone shaped peice of rubber and twisted it in to plug the hole and tapped over the plug to ensure that it wouldn't back out with vibrations, etc. After you dry everything off start the engine and turn the AC on max, you'll be able to see the where the water is leaking from after the AC gets cold. Hope this helps, it drove us nuts for a year before we figured it out and the wet carpet smell wasn't pleasant.

SOURCE: i have transmission fluid leaking

Hmmmm, The tube running to the firewall may just be an elevated vent for the trans, but it should noyt vent into the passenger compartment. Are you sure it isn't brake fluid? Brake fluid is used for the clutch as well as brakes. if either brake or clutch cylinders leak it would or could be possible the fluid will enter through the firewall and run down the nearest thing.. Ck that out, you can tell by smell which it is. brake fluid will wash off with water, gear oil will not. good luck

SOURCE: COOLANT LEAK CANT FIND

Sounds like your heater hose leaking or your heater core leaking. The heater core is in the firewall and the hoses leading to it can be inspected from the outside under the hood. Worse case scenerio would be the intake manifold gasket leak, but that is usually accompanied by irratic idling. I would say the heater core though or hoses. Hope this is helpful to you

My 2010 Jeep Liberty is leaking water from the a/c on to the driver floor board

If you are leaking water and not coolant, your condensation drain on the outside on the firewall could be clogged. All you have to do is remove the dirt and run your vehicle with the A/C on and check that is begins to leak outside.

If it's coolant, then you may have a leaking heater hose or heater core. This requires to replace the leaking component, which may need to have the dash board removed.

Can i drive my 2010 jeep liberty with a leaking heater core?

The heater uses the coolant (read antifreeze and water) from the engine to get hot. If it runs low enough, by say leaking out of the heater core, your engine will overheat and that can be bad for it and expensive to fix.
Although most antifreeze is poisonous, (don't drink it) if you keep your window open the fumes will not hurt you. That being said, it will stain the carpet, make the inside of the car smelly, leave a puddle on the floor, cause the floor boards to rust(slowly) and mainly be annoying.
Since we are starting into summer you can get by for awhile by just adding water to the coolant tank under the hood. Make sure you do this when the engine is not hot. Engine coolant can give you severe burns if you take the cap off when the engine is hot.
So, about an hour after you get home from work go and check the engine coolant level. If you can hold onto the radiator hose then it is cool enough to add some more water. If you add more water then leaks out you can drive the jeep.
FYI The leak will get worse over time.

Air blend door jeep liberty 2010

My blend air door is stuck on my 2010 liberty. I have removed the actuator panel on the drivers side and the middle door that controls the air flow to the dash is completely seized. There are 4 blend air doors on this liberty, 2 control the heat/ac and 2 control the air flow.
there is no access to them from the drivers side and the passanger side looks like I have to cut into the air box to get to them.

My 2001 jeep liberty needs water added often, like

OK, you know that you are loosing coolant somewhere. What you need to do (I can't from here) is carefully look at everything that water passes through till you find evidence of seepage. Check the ground where you park (but remember that coolant will run down and across, dripping somewhere other than exactly where the leak is) Check the chassis after sitting a few hours, under the pump pulley and head/block parting lines..rug on passenger side and heater control valve on hoses going into firewall.but definitely EVERWHERE.
