I'm changing the spark plugs on my 2004 Toyota Sequoia 4.7 V8 this weekend. I've never changed spark plugs on an import. Is there anything special I need to know? What is the procedure?

First get a Autorepair manual from either Chiltons or Haynes for your toyota and look up tuneups -replacing spark plugs, this should detail everything required ,even to the firing order for the spark plugs. make sure you follow the book to the letter Or you'll be sorry.

Good luck

What are the correct spark plugs for my 94 sequoia

You can use the platinum plugs, they will last about 60,000 miles while the iridium last about 100K miles, that's about the only difference.

What is the recommended oil change interval for a 2004 toyota sequoia?

Hello. Welcome to FixYa. Please allow us to assist you.

The factory recommendation for oil changes is every 5,000 miles; that is based on normal driving.

If you are operating the vehicle in mountainous terrain, or towing a trailer, we would recommend changing the oil every 3,500 miles.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance today.

At how many miles should my timing belt be changed on my 2004 sequoia?

HI- Most manufacturers reccomend replacement at 90k, 180k, etc. Variables include other parts that may need replacing during these belt changes. Water pumps and timing belts should be purchased from the DEALERSHIP, regardless of who does work. This is proper, normal cost of maintaining your sequoia. Complete inspections and labor should be completed by mechanic familiar w/Toyota vehicles. Parts may run 150-250$. Labor depends on who ya know.- Hope this helps- Thanks- ED
