P0125 OBD-II Trouble Code Technical Description Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel Control What does that mean? This means that the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor indicates that the engine has not reached the required temperature level to enter closed-loop operation within a specified amount of time after starting the engine. Symptoms You will likely not notice any drivability problems. Causes A code P0125 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: Insufficient warm up time Low engine coolant level Leaking or stuck open thermostat Faulty coolant temperature sensor Possible Solutions The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back. If the code comes back, the problem is likely going to be the result of the above causes (faulty thermostat, faulty ECT sensor, or a low coolant level). 2003 mercury mountaineer keep blow fuse 41 and will not trune over

F1.41 15 PCM power diode, PCM power relay, Vapor management valve,
Heated oxygen sensors (HO2S), Electr. Vacuum Regulator (EVR)
solenoid valve, Evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent valve
(9F945) one of these above mentioned components is shorted to ground causing that fuse to blow , Check the O2 sensor wiring to see if it is melted on exhaust pipe or manifold . Go youtube an check out how to find a short in an automotive electrical circuit !

Raw gas smell on 1999 Mercury Mountaineer at rear of vehicle

Sometimes overfilling will mess up the evaporation canister which absorbs gas fumes. I would have it checked.
