How do i replace a clutch fan on a chevrolet trailblazer

Smart man using a scanner for the actual temp. Assuming you're not losing coolant....2 things I'd look at here, 1st is you may have air in the system, make sure to purge all the air. 2nd is your fan clutch, I've replaced a few fan clutches in my own Trailblazer. Have had them bad right out of the box brand new. Have had bad brand new fan clutches on 2 of my last Trailblazers. You should hear it engaging especially in stop and go traffic.

Check the connector on the fan clutch. Make sure a pin didn't get pushed out the back side of the harness that plugs into fan clutch.

the fan clutches are very common to be bad, get an AC Delco or a dealer fan clutch, Aftermarket ones do not work correctly.

where did fan clutch come from??

A couple of things come to mind. Double check the wiring at the fan clutch, check the whole harness, there is a known problem wth chaffing there. Is it a Dorman brand fan clutch? These have been known to be bad out of the box. The other thing that could be wrong is the actual speed sensor on the new fan clutch. Hope some of this helps.

Need to replace your fan clutch. It's constantly engaged, sounding like an airplane. Common problem for Trailblazers and Envoys.

If the fan clutch is activated or engaged all the time, it will sound like a big rig during normal driving, pretty loud. Replace the fan clutch, it's a common problem with TB's.

CHECK TO SEE IF FAN TIGHT TO THE CLUTCH IF YES YOUR FAN CLUTCH IS BAD.REPLACE IT.CANT REPLACE BEARING.
