Why does my 2000 Nissan Quest emits humming sound when engine run

code p1148 refers to closed loop control-bank 1-inoperative===causes--wiring--HO2S front--ECM

Check the wiring is in good condition, replace the HO2S sensor.

Follow your fuel lines from the the engine back to the tank.They usually run right along the frame.Check for your filter along the lines you will see a filter in there somewhere.

check if there is spark in your plugs, if none, just replace ignition coil.

if it was the timing belt the engine would not be running
take it to an accredited service shop or auto zone or the like and have the fault codes read
from your description it sounds like it is in limp mode and you will need to find what sensor/s have placed the engine /transmission in that mode to protect the units
I would be taking it some else as a an accredited would have run the fault codes first and then advised you what the problem was.

It is non inteference as requested by Ford for the joint venture program - Mercury Villager is same van.
