Hi, I seem to have the same problem with my Corolla verso 2004. The steering lock doesn't disengage and the car won't start even though the immobiliser light stops flashing. Have you managed to get it sorted?
Thanks

***** Update**** In the end I did manage to get my problem fixed. It had nothing to do with the key. The problem was a faulty connection in the immobiliser motor that sits on the steering column, It wouldn't disengage. Our mechanic checked and repaired the motor and now the car works fine. It's a very rare fault apparently.

2005 toyota corolla verso remote won't unlock

This one you may be stuck paying the 50 dollars but what I would do first is contact the manufacturer of the remote control. I would bet they will help you out. The other option is to go to an after market installer of car alarms that is a bit smaller. They will most likely help you in the hopes of you coming back for further business.

Audi A6 TDI 2006, the car didn't start, steering wheel locked and no display on the dashboard

Blow off water from the fuse box plate, relays, fuses and connectors.
Test all the fuses. Body main fuse may have blown up due to the short circuit during wash.

The key is in the ignition and it is locked and will not turn. we have tried everything but the key wont turn on the car. the key does come out of the ignition but wont turn to start the car.

Your steering locks could be in a bind. Is your steering wheel turned to the side? Try moving the steering wheel while trying to turn the key. If this is not the case, then you most likely have either a worn-out key or a worn-out ignition lock cylinder assembly.
I would first try a different key if you have one. If there is not another key, I would take the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the dealer along with proof of registration and picture ID, and have them cut a NEW key using the key codes for your vehicle. If this does not work, then you will probably have to replace the ignition lock cylinder assembly.
