Water pump leak.

A qater pump usually starts leaking from a small hole in it called a weap hole. When you see coolant leaking from the pump its time to teplace it

Remove the transmission & see if the front pump seal is worn,
where the torque converter goes in

Yes it is very likely that your water pump is leaking out of the weap hole.

if water is running out the weap hole on water pump or a loud humming or sqalling noise then yes its bad and needs replaced

Check radiator and hoses for leaks. If no luck water pump may be leaking. Should see leaking from weap hole at bottom of pump.

If you are losing coolant first get a pressure tester and find out if your your system is losing pressure, if so look at your water pump to make sure it not leaking. it has a weap hole on it, you might check your heater core to make sure it not leaking, it will some times make a smell in your car if it leaks.Next check all your hoses and radiator cap. It sounds like the water pump is leaking from the weap hole.
Double the hode connections, and hoses. If they look good then it most likely need a new wayer pump

If its leaking from a mount bolt then your gasket went bad.....get a new gasket and some permatex

However if it looks like it is leaking from the pully its self then it is leaking from the weap hole, when this happens it is because the seal arround the berrings has gone bad. You have to get a new water pump

If it's the weap hole the pump is going bad. That hole is designed to leak as a "warning" that the pump is going to fail.

It most likely is the water pump leaking out of the weap hole .This happens when the internal seal get worn out .:)
