Can I swap my low beam bulb with one of my high beam bulbs rather than buying new ones on my 2002 Chrysler 300m

You would be breaking the law as well as risking blowing a 50cent fuse. At least adjust the lights down so they don't blind other drivers

Daytime Running Lights Inoperative 2002 Toyota Camry

[Information] For a 2002 Toyota Camry, the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) operate utilizing the High Beams (inner Lamps closer to the center of the vehicle front) at a reduced power.

[The troubleshooting process:] Review the Owner's Manual and ensure the test configuration matches the following criteria:
1. According to the 2002 Toyota Camry Owner's Manual (Check your Owners Manual):
"The DRL system will make your headlights come on at a reduced brightness when:
The light switch s in the "DRL" position.
The ignition is on with the engine running.
The headlight switch is off.
The parking brake is released."

2. Set the Test Conditions according to Step 1 above.

3. Check the headlight bulbs to ensure they are not burned out. If one burns out, there is a fair chance that the other would have burned out at the same time. Replace as necessary. In this case, if the high beams operate, the DRLs should also operate.
4. Test the system, ensuring the step 1 conditions are set. (Engine running, Multi-function Switch on Turn Signals in "DRL" position, headlight switch off (repeating what the manual says -- it should be obvious that in the "DRL" position, the headlight switch should be off / do not have the switch positioned to "High Beam"), and the Parking Brake "off").
5. If DRL lights do not work, check the engine compartment Fuse and Relay Box. there is a 5 Amp DRL fuse -- replace it with the spare. Test (step 4).
6. If it does not work, swap around or replace relays -- there are three (3). Any one of them could be bad (stuck or burned out). Test (step 4).
7. Other less likely possible issues could be that the Multi-function Switch is broken or a connection / wire is broken. [Beyond the scope of this process.]

My problem was that the test configuration did not have the engine running and parking brake off - Step 1. Problem solved with much thought, repetitive tests on the vehicle and going back to the basics -- what does the Owner's Manual say and where are the applicable fuses and relays located?

What is the easiest way to change a low beam bulb on a 2007 aura

LOOK IN GLOVE COMPARTMENT FOR OWNERS MANUAL.LOOK IN BACK INDEX OF MANUAL FOR BULB REPLACEMENT OWNERS MANUAL WILL SHOW AND TELL YOU HOW TO REMOVE AND REPLACE BULBS. BE SURE TO WEAR CLEAN LATEX GLOVES WHEN HANDLING THE BULBS BECAUSE BOTH LOW BEAM BULBS AND HIGH BEAM BULBS ARE HALOGEN IF TOUCH WITH HANDS OILS FROM SKIN WILL CAUSE HALOGEN BULBS TO OVER HEAT AND BLOW. HALOGEN BULBS NOT CHEAP THEY COST RANGE $10.00 TO $20.00

The low-beam headlights don't work. The fuses are fine as I replaced them with those of the high-beams and the high-beams worked. Other than both bulbs burning out at the same time what else could be...

Possibly the bulbs. Take a look at them; they have 2 coils per bulb, one for the low beam and one for the high beam. So it is possible that the more used low beam burns out before the lesser used high beam.

How to change the low beam headlight

It depends on the type of lighting your 300M has, in 2002 they offeredHID lighting and regular halogen lighting. You may want to get afactory service manual for your car here.Changing the bulb either way does involve removing the headlamp mostly. If you have HID you have to mind the ballasts that are attached.

Changing headlight 300m

lift the hood. the light are down behind the light assembly. simply turn large black ring and it will come out. be carefull not to touch the glass on the new one. oil from your skin will cause it to prematurely fail.

Driver side Headlight Replacement

I am car stupid. Just following the instructions in the owners manual, I was able to replace my low beam driver side bulb in less than a half hour. Only one tip. When it says pull straight up on the tab, definitely oil it first. I snapped the tab off and cut myself because it didn't have enough give.
