Definitely agree probably a bad brake light switch or another release for the shifter so that when you put your foot on the brake it disengages The lock so you can take it out of park. try this, with the vehicle running start tapping the brake and listen for a clicking noise around the shifter if you do not hear that clicking noise and the problem is there when you put your foot on the brake your pushing in the switch is there a brake light switch or a separate switch that is there to keep the vehicle from being pulled out of park while the vehicle is running

Brake switch is bad. Check to see if you have brake lights. Brake switch is under the dash and it touches the brake arm.
