Howdie sounds Like the Fuel Pump Relay IS Busted Try replacing it then Be Lookin at replacing it next But make sure you have checked with the relay in the Trunk has been pushed to restart it if that don,t work Relay is gone

have you checked out the core packs? and if you go to autozone you can get a printed diagram where the crankcase sensor is located also look for the location normally under the hood for the fuel pump relay

just press the button to reset it. Per your owner manual. Should only trip in an accident.

WHen you turn on the key, can you hear the fuel pump run for 5 seconds. The pump is in the fuel tank. listen there while someone turns the key on. report back.

My 1998 lincoln continental could not start but it is cranking, the battery was completyely dead i bought a new one but the car just cracks, the fuels systems has been checked , the plugs changed, all...

Narrow the problem down to a spark or fuel problem by spraying starter fluid into the intake. If the car starts for a few seconds, then you know there is a fuel delivery problem (fuel pump or injectors not firing). If it doesn't start for a few seconds then you know there is an ignition problem. In that case, the CKP or crankshaft position sensor circuit may not be functioning correctly.

Replaced fuel pump and fuel filter and relays and the 03 lincoln navigator is still not starting? i have reset the reset button but still not getting power to the fuel pump, please help

Your pump is controlled by the PCM. Recommend you interrogate the relay socket to see if the PCM is trying to turn it on. You could also jump the relay there to see if the truck will start. If you want to jump the relay socket, be careful not to put 12 volts into the PCM. You want to jump the hot terminal to the load terminal, which should have a much lower resistance than the PCM. I bought a new feul pump and ecu for my 98 lincoln continental i

Check to see if its getting spark by slightly removing a plug wire. And see if you can see fuel pumping inside the carb as you pump the linkage. Also try poringing a little fuel inside the carb with the air filter removed. If it starts it's the fuel system if it doesn't it's the ignition system.
