My 2007 ford focus rear door also will not lock manually or with the remote. Report this issue on Safercar.govhttps://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/ This is a safety issue because our kids can just open the rear door because you have no ability to lock the door and/or use the child safety lock feature. your actuator is not working needs to be re place. I don't remember if it is a air or motor one but you need to open the penal on the door and have a look.If air one will be like arectengol and the motor is tin long
(door lock actuator)all doors have one in them, they weeken, and sometimes work to open, and some times to lock, or not at all. only fix is to replace each of them as they go out, usually cost abt 20 to 40 bucks a piece
I will say you are having problem with central locking vacuum module.Either that or you are loosing vacuum in the central locking system some where.Diagnostic procedure can be pain in the ***.I would advise you to locate the Module and follow the lines to each door.If rubber vacuum lines are not thorn,I would go and get to salvage yard and get me another module that would be much cheaper. Also there is two relays. One is for unlocking and other one for locking.Try those first before anything else.Usually humidity and cold could damage them.Hope I could help you.
yes there is if you drop down the glove box lid and remove the bolts holding the fuse box. unclip the fues box and pull it down. turn the fuse box around and there is a fuse on the back (i thing its a 15amp)
this is the other fuse for the central locking.
please let me know if this helps
cheers
big mike :)
