1. Monitor the 5v reference, Gray wire to the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) with a Digital Volt Ohm Meter (DVOM) set to the MIN/MAX setting.

2. Monitor the TPS signal circuit, Blue wire with a DVOM. Voltage should range smoothly from approximately 0.44 to 5.0 volts as the throttle is opened.

3. Tap test the Electronic Control Module (ECM) and see if the codes come back or if the engine reacts.

Just because the battery has enough power to operate the lights and door locks does not mean it would pass a load test. If the battery checks out OK then check the battery cables. use one side of a pair of jumper cables to bypass each cable starting with the negative cable. if the vehicle now starts, replace the cable. The positive cable is harder to check using this method. attach one end of the jumper cable to the starter terminal making sure that the end of the jumper cable is not touching the engine and then attach the other end to the positive terminal of the battery. If sparking occurs when this end is connected then the jumper cable is touching ground and must be repositioned. If the problem still exists then the most likely cause is the starter solenoid. Always wear safety glasses when working around a battery.

If you're getting a code for a heated oxygen sensor circuit problem, replace the sensor. I don't think I've ever seen a fuse be the problem. Bank 1 is located at the back of the engine compartment, close to the firewall. Sensor 2 is the sensor after the catalytic converter.

Lights turn on when car is off, wont engage when started and hazard lights are flashing really fast. had to unhook battery, 03 windstar, any advice

All the thing's your having problems with are computer controlled .The main light switch is a low voltage device , controlled by the instrument cluster . The instrument cluster is connected to the vehicle control moduel system via the SCP - standard corporate protocol , messages are put out on the data network to other modules to control lighting ! The (REM) rear electronic module an the (FEM) front electronic module .

You could look for a loose connection (ground ) But your best bet take it to a qualified repair shop (ford )

I found this posted in the car section, but I will post an answer anyway.
You have a short in the house wiring. Could be in the switches, or the light fixtures, or the wiring going back to the breaker.
Yes it could be a fire hazard if not repaired.
If you can't get it fixed before you leave town, I would turn the breakers off for that section of the house.
