SOURCE: e-brake is stuck on 96 toyota tacoma

the rear brake pivots maybe seized. look at the back of the brake drums see where the brake cable meets the brakes, there is a leaver there that is suppost to pivot if it is seized. you will need to remove the drums unbolt the e-brake leaver and take it apart to clean the rust out. you maybe able to unseize it by spraying wd-40 into it and working it, but you will need to take it apart to prevent it happening again.

What cable to cut for a kill swicht

The Safest cable to cut when installing an allarm or kill switch is the fuel pump because it doesn't hook directly to the computer like the ignition wires. It goes through a relay before going to the pump. You want to put your switch or alarm cut out relay on the wire coming from the fuel pump relay to the fuel pump.
