SOURCE: 2006 honda Odyssey front fan quit

I'm not sure where you are based, but with most new vehicles there is a 3 year or 60,000 mile warranty, so it should be covered under that if there is a fault. I recommend taking it to the dealer if the warranty is still current, otherwise if it is not you could check through the fuses to make sure it's not just a blown fuse, maybe check the wiring to the fan motor under the dash to make sure it's still plugged in and not damaged, and (with the key on and the heater fan switched on) check for power to the fan motor with a testlight. If there is power there then the fan motor is faulty, if not then there is fault with the control system, but that is probably about as far as you could go at home. Obviously if the fan is faulty you could replace it yourself if it's easily accessible. Any further faults would need a Honda dealer or good auto electrician to diagnose.

Hope this helps,
Mark.

Check your fuses. Sometimes more than one thing is tied to one fuse.

SOURCE: Rear ventilation system is not working.

It is too new for it to be a worn out fan motor so it must be either a fuse blown or a bad swithch. Check the fuse first - it's easy and cheap to fix so always try the easiest fix first.

Now I am assuming you do not hear the fan blowing. If I am wrong let me know.

If the fuses check out (look for them under dash and under hood) then you can take the switch out and test it with a volt meter. Hook up the two leads from the switch and see if you get continuity when on and also at each speed. I have seen fans work at only one speed and not the others.

Does it work at any speed? Or does it simply not come on?

Hope this helps. Let me know.

Rear blower: only works on high when set on cold, won't work at all when set to heat

I would start with the rear blower motor resistor, the resistor is what controls the speed of the fan, the resistor is located in the rear heater box near the blower, you will need to remove the right rear side panel to access the heater box. start with that

How do i replace instrument panel lights (heat and ac /fan info) on a 2005 honda odyssey

The center dashboard panel, which holds the climate control system, etc., must be gently pried up. Start at the bottom and work your way around. Once this is loose, disconnect the electrical connectors and the panel can be removed completely. The light bulbs are marked Gray and Black and are freed by a turning slightly. I think the only place you can get the bulbs is a Honda dealer.

The ac and the heater does not work

If the ac and heater doesn't function any longer, you have either blown a fuse for the climate control or you need to replace the climate control unit, on the dash.

I have a 2001 Honda Odyssey. I only recently bought this. The rear air con vents only blow out cold air, no matter what the temperature it is set to. The dealer I bought from said this was standard, and...

I've have never heard of a "only cold air system", but hey, nothing surprises me anymore. try replacing the control unit in the front. hopefully that will take care of the problem. If not you need to check your blend valve. (headache depending on location)

If it is a mechanical switch that you turn this system works by vacume it could be the vacume supply hose coming from the intake manifold is either off or broken.

You could also have disconnected it by mistake when you changed the climate control. Good luck
