Radiator installation on 2003 Kia Sorento

That is a VERY easy radiator.
Loosen radiator drain plug and drain coolant from radiator.
Disconnect cooling fan connectorsRemove upper and lower radiator hoses after marking them to ease installation.
For vehicles equipped with automatic transaxles, disconnect transmission cooler lines at transaxle.
Remove air conditioner condenser fixing bolts and radiator bracket fixing nuts.
Remove the radiator, radiator cooling fan, air conditioning cooling fan and transmission cooler lines from the vehicle as an assembly.
Transfer all necessary parts (fan assemblies, cooler lines, clips, speed nuts, fittings, etc.) to the new radiator.

Reverse procedure to install.

Fill and bleed cooling system.

Once i remove the retaining clip on the transmission cooler line at the radiator do i just pull on the cooler line to remove it or do i need to loosen a bolt or anything else? 2005 grand prix 3.8L series...

If there is a bracket attached to the line undo it .If no bracket just pull straight out once clip is released. Just put clip on and snap together.

Removal

If mixing occurs, drain engine cooling system and refill with originally equipped coolant type. If this contamination occurs, the service interval of Extended Life Coolant will be reduced from 6 years/150,000 miles to 3 years/30,000 miles.
  1. Disconnect battery ground cable (14301).
  1. Remove battery (10653) as described in Section 14-01 .
  1. Remove clip retaining contant control relay module and position module aside.
  1. Remove battery tray (10732) as described in Section 14-01 .
  1. Remove radiator cap (8100).
  1. Raise vehicle on hoist as described in Section 00-02 .
  1. Remove radiator splash shield.
  1. Drain engine cooling system as described in this section.
  1. Remove the radiator mounting bracket assembly.
  1. Remove lower radiator hose (8286).
  1. Partially lower vehicle.
  1. Remove upper radiator hose (8260).

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE REAR STEERING GEAR CROSS MEMBER.REMOVE THE WIRE HARNESS FROM THE WIRE HARNESS RETAINING CLIPS ON THE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER LINE BRACKET.REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER LINE BRACKET BOLT.REMOVE RIGHT TRANSMISSION COVER BOLT.THEN REMOVE STARTER BOLTS THEN REMOVE STARTER.

How to remove radiator from my 2000 chrysler 300

Radiator Removal & Installation To Remove:
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
  2. Disconnect negative cable.
  3. Drain cooling system.
  4. Remove or disconnect the following:
    • Radiator upper crossmember
    • Upper and lower coolant hoses from the radiator
    • Transmission hoses from cooler
    • Engine oil cooler lines (if equipped)
    • Radiator fan electrical connector and fan assembly
    • Condenser mounting screws located at the front of the radiator
    • Transmission cooler line bracket from left side of radiator
  5. Lift condenser upward enough to disengage upper mounting clips. Allow condenser to rest on lower radiator crossmember.
  6. Lifted radiator from engine compartment.
To Install:
  1. Seat the radiator assembly lower rubber isolators into the mounting holes in radiator lower support.
  2. Attach air conditioning condenser to radiator
    • Torque to 45 inch lbs. (5 Nm)
  3. Install or connect the following:
    • Radiator lower hose
    • Transmission cooler line bracket and transmission hoses
      1. Torque to 28 inch lbs. (3 Nm)
    • Radiator fan and electrical connector
    • Engine oil cooler lines (if equipped)
      1. Torque to 160 inch lbs. (18 Nm)
    • Radiator upper hose
    • Radiator upper support crossmember
    • Negative cable
  4. Fill cooling system with coolant.

How to remove a radiator from a ford taurus

Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove battery. Remove battery tray. Remove clip retaining contant control relay module and position module aside. Remove radiator cap. Raise vehicle front end as high as possible. Remove radiator splash shield. Drain radiator. Remove the radiator mounting bracket assembly. Remove lower radiator hose. Partially lower vehicle. Remove upper radiator hose. Remove radiator overflow hose. Remove upper A/C condenser core retaining bolts. Remove upper transmission oil cooler tube clips. Remove lower transmission oil cooler tube. Raise vehicle. Remove lower transmission oil cooler tube clips. Remove lower transmission oil cooler tube. Remove transmission oil cooler bracket and position transmission oil cooler aside. Remove lower A/C condenser core bolts and position A/C condenser core aside(be careful not to loosen the AC condenser lines. Remove radiator support bracket. Remove radiator out through the bottom of the vehicle.
Installation
Position radiator. Position radiator support bracket and tighten nuts. Position A/C condenser core and tighten lower A/C condenser core bolts. Position transmission oil cooler tube and install transmission oil cooler tube bracket. Install lower transmission oil cooler tube. Install lower transmission oil cooler tube clips. Install lower radiator hose. Install radiator mounting bracket assembly. Tighten bolts. Install radiator splash shield. Lower vehicle. Install upper tranmission oil cooler tube. Install upper transmission oil cooler tube clips. Install upper A/C condenser core retaining bolts. Tighten bolts. Install radiator overflow hose and tighten clamps securely. Install upper radiator hose. Position constant control relay module and clip securely. Install battery tray. Install battery. Connect battery ground cable. Fill and bleed cooling system. Start engine and inspect for leaks.

Want to replace the radiator on my 1997 ford thunderbird

Radiator Aluminum Core, Crossflow — 3.8L (Base) and 4.6L Engines
Removal
  1. Drain engine cooling system as described. Disconnect upper radiator hose (8260) and lower radiator hose (8286) and radiator overflow hose (8075) from the radiator (8005). Disconnect the transmission oil cooler inlet and outlet lines from the radiator.
  1. Remove cooling fan motor,fan blade (8600) and fan shroud (8146) assembly as described.
  1. Remove radiator upper bracket retaining bolts and remove bracket. Lift radiator from vehicle.
Installation
  1. Position the radiator into the vehicle. Install upper brackets and tighten bolts securely.
  1. Connect the transmission oil cooler lines to the transmission oil cooler fittings.
  1. Install cooling fan motor, fan blade and fan shroud assembly as described.
Engine Cooling Fan Motor, Fan Blade and Fan Shroud Assembly, Electrical Removal
  1. Disconnect (pull apart) the male-female cooling fan motor wiring connector at the side of the fan shroud (8146). Remove the male terminal connector retaining clip from the fan shroud mounting tab.
  1. Remove two fan shroud upper retaining bolts at the radiator tanks.
  1. Lift cooling fan motor/fan blade (8600)/fan shroud assembly past radiator (8005), disengaging fan shroud from two lower retaining clips.
Installation
  1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
  1. Tighten fan shroud retaining bolts to 5.2-7.2 Nm (46-63 lb-in).

    if ur replacing it remove front grill disconnect both lines and carefully remove retaining clips from radiator if replacement is original eguipt mount & reconnect --if its a universal follow instructions usually cut off fittings and use clamps and hose to hook up
