Sounds like an engine misfire.Does the check engine light come on or flash. If so, it may be a spark plug or ignition coil issue. The transmission can also cause a shudder problem. These transmissions are usually rather dependable though.

My toyota echo 2000 is in great shape but if start it run or accelerate it then its too loud.... but we check the muffler has no leak...

check for a crack in the manifold to exhaust pipe connection
to allow the engine to move ,there is normally a flexible piece of exhaust pipe in a stainless steel braid that cracks and allows exhaust sound out especially on acceleration
could be even broken at the manifold connection at the flange

Toyota Echo manuel transmission noisy

Check if:-
- It is squealing or squeaking noise, the thrust bearing is at fault and need to be replaced.
- The noise varies when accelerating or decelerating, check the engine mounts and muffler Re torque all the suspension nuts and bolts. Also have a look in the engine bay area for any loose component.
- Noise is heard in any particular gear, then the transmission may require major repair.
- Check the transmission oil level.

2000 6 cyl mustang shutters sometimes while driving

try doing a spark test to insure that you are getting a good spark if you have a good spark then i would try doing a tune up and replacing the pcv valve and if you have a check engine light on go to a local parts house and have them do a obd2 scan and see what that comes out to be because it could also be the egr system hope this will help you out please leave a review thanks sincerely D.Jones

2000 Manual 1.3 ltr Echo - sluggish engine

I'd check the distributor --then the coil if so equipped --loose connection or bad ground
if ok --can you say vacuum leak or problem or EGR related
A about to fail intake manifold gasket may present in the same fashion ---pressure test it for leaks
and if it is unclear pressure test the cooling system too ---leak down test

Missing and stumbling during acceleration

4.2 ltr missing. 2000 truck, f150. Changed plugs, wires. Ran great for 2 weeks. Started again. Changed coils. Got worse. Changed fuel filter, did nothing. Added injector cleaner and fuel cleaner, nothing. Checked EGR, o.k. It is getting worse. Had new gas about the time it all started.
