If you're talking about resetting the auto-up function, you run the window down, then run it up, and hold the switch on "up" for about 5-10 seconds.

Testimonial: "Sorry, It didn't work for me. I'll let you know the final outcome once I take my 2004 Cadillac CTS to the dealership that is going to rake me for $100.00 or more to diagnose the problem. I'll keep you informed......"

Sorry to hear it. I did it several times on my 2004 and 2009 CTS. I didn't even realize the auto-up was a function on my 2004 until I owned for a few years.
I just had the freaking GM dealer take me for $100, to tell me exactly what I already knew.
    Good Luck

My Volkswagen Jetta won't start after disconnecting and re connecting the battery.

Anti-Theft security system reset

Use Your remote key FOB and press the unlock button. Unlock the driver's side door using the key and switch the ignition to the ON position, but don't start the vehicle. If it's still triggered, roll up all the windows and exit the vehicle, then lock the driver's door with the key.

My 05 tiburon battery was dying so i replaced it then my stereo stopped working its not the fuse is there a reset

Radio 'resets' automatically when power is removed -- so, since you replaced the battery, the time lapse between removal of the old battery and installation of the new battery automatically did it.

2001 Audi TT windows do not open/close when opening/closing door, nor do they continuously go up down with a tap of the button, as they are supposed to do

you had something blocking the window path which reset the software control on the window buttons or had the battery power removed. it will reset itself after at least 30 button operations.

Battery cell is dead in my rx 300 lexus 2001 .

Are Lexus' known for the computer resetting when replacing the battery? If your really worried that the computer will reset... OK, hold on. First let me say that I don't think the computer is going to reset although I have heard of a few instances where "prolonged" time without any power to the computer will cause it to have to be re-initialized by a dealership technician. I give you my advice with great caution. Please, if you do not feel completely confident doing this, then please don't. Here it goes: Use jumper cables to connect your Lexus battery terminals to another vehicles battery. Carefully remove your old battery being careful not to let the positive terminal contact anything conductive, maybe rap it in a plastic bag and duct tape or something. When you install the new battery, connect the negative terminal before the positive. Good luck and please be careful. If you are a smoker, never smoke near an automobile battery... they have been known to explode.

Whenever battery power is disconnected, windows can "forget" their settings. Lower both windows simultaneously. Then raise them. When closed let go the window controls for one second then pull them up simultaneously again and hold for a count of three.

Thant should reset your windows.

Good luck.
