Ever notice that while driving that the car hesitates or refuses to go into gear? ... but after shifting into gear the engine's RPMs will surge, but the car won't move as fast as the ..... It's slow to shift gears and accelerate in Reverse, D4,D3,2 and 1.

Hey i changed out both cam position sensor and the car is still stuck in 5th gear once it warms up. What could be the problem

If it goes into other gears correctly, then the issue is likely a synchromesh problem with that particular gear, and the gearbox may have to be stripped.
You may try changing the gear oil first though, as this can often fix the issue without having to spend too much money on unnecessary repairs.

Submit the scan results from the OBD-II system. If you don't know what that is, go to Autozone for a free scan or another auto parts store for a free/paid scan and submit the findings for help in solving this one.

I don't know exactly how the nissans work with their "limp" mode for what gear it goes into and such. This sounds like the computer is sensing a problem and going into the "limp" mode. Go get the code pulled to see what is says. If it has anything saying trans slipping or ratio problem then something internal in the the trans is wrong. Also, check the trans fluid and see if its burnt ( dark brown or black).

do not flush the trans, that will make it worse.
My friend you have no second gear, you need trans rebuilt.
If you flush it now you can cause more damage.
