I have a 1999 Mitsubishi montero and i bought it used the gas gage will not go to full when i fill it up and when it dose move it only gose to quarter tank mark and rarely. Gose to half tank mark

Sounds like a bad float or weak gauge.you can always use the miles trip to predict how much fuel you have left in cases like these the trip can be your best friend.have someone experienced change the float in the tank then if not float change gauge but like i said someone that knows what they are doing if not they can mess the entire dash up and short alot more than you would think out so try float or gauge if it has over 150k miles its probably the float.

The starter will not turn over but if you cross the selinoid the starter turn the small purple wire that gose to the starter has no power even when the key is in the crack position

Try to check the ignition switch that is on the steering column inside the car and under the dashboard.
Do not buy a new one, first see if the ignition switch is getting any "juice", and then if it is sending any "juice" to the starter when the key switch is turned.
The ignition switch is not the key switch, but it is connected to the key switch with a push rod.
The ignition switch is down in the area of your shins.
God bless your efforts.

What is the mileage on your car? It sounds like either a failing fuel pump or a clogged filter. Fuel pumps seem to fail around the 200K KM mark most often. (125K miles).

What to check 2004 jeep liberty no brake lights all others work

check the brake light switch on the steering colume by the firewall. you should have power to one side of the switch at all times and power on the other wire only when the brake pedal is pushed. if not the you either have a power supply problem for the wire that is to be powered up all the time that will have to be checked out(fuse). if no power when the pedal is pushed then the brake light switch is no good. if you have power when pedal is pushed then you will have to check wiring from the switch to the rear lights for a broken wire with a test light, and repair wire.

P0701 and p0704

Unfortunately the 0700 series of numbers relate to the transmission. Code ( P0701) is pushed by 1- Open or short transmission control system circuit. 2 - Poor transmission control system electrical connection. 3 - Check powers and grounds to Transmission Control Module (TCM). Code P0704 is pushed by 1- Faulty Clutch Switch.
2 - Misadjusted Clutch Switch. 3 - Clutch Switch harness is open or shorted. 3 - Clutch Switch circuit poor electrical connection. 4 - Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM). But I'm guessing you have an automatic trans. right. If so I would look at the (DTR) digital transmission range sensor.

Gas tank door not opening

Hi there,
Have you looked in the trunk on the side that the gas tank is on? There may be a fuel release switch. Couple of other things to try is to unlock all your doors from the inside of your car and/ or try pushing in and out on the gas door over and over until, hopefully, it triggers the device. I hope that will help you. I will keep trying to find the answer. Let me know. Have a great night.~MWD
