SOURCE: 2000 Dodge neon motor mount

Not sure why the they did that i am guessing the reason is that either it does not matter or every car is unique. i would just swap the old one onto the new one just to be safe.
I will do a little research to find the real reason

SOURCE: Leaking coolant

Highly unlikely that is the case more likely it is the radiator leaking onto the fan. Also check the upper hose to make sure that it doesnt have a pin hole in it. Good luck and dont forget to rate.

SOURCE: replace lowerr right motor mount on dodge 2001

Yes you can. Just put the car on JACK STANDS, As you will need to raist the engine slightly with a jack to take the load off of the mount to remove it. Buy the new mount first, so you will see where the bolts go. BE safe and don't rely on a tire jack

SOURCE: how to replace a engine mount on dodge neon 05

There are 4 motor mounts on a Neon. You need a jack to support the bottom of the motor with a block of wood on it. 2 are easily replaceable, but there is one that goes to the middle of the front of the engine that is tricky, plus the transmission mount is accessed after removing several components, like the battery and tray. It may be better to have a professional take care of those "tricky" mounts.

SOURCE: dodge neon sxt 2003 engine vibration while increasing rpm

Well i have s similar sound but im not sure if its the same. For me i just found out that its a bracket i never put back on. The motor mounts if you get them at an autozone which gives you a life time warrenty runs about 30 bucks and theres only 3 upper passenger and lower passenger and one on the drive side which is connected to the transmission. there is some what of a 4th one but that one never really goes bad and its the worst one of them all. Its located in between the 2 on the passenger side you have to move the engine outa the way to get to it and take it out. Im not sure if autozone or any place sells that one but like i said its probably still ok. i have 170000 mile on my neon and the mounts still good and trust me my cars been through alot and i mean alot its flied over cannels anyway yea so thats what i know about the mounts im not sure why the noise though. I say check the motor mounts if any are ripped change the ripped ones all at once trust me. Oh and i didnt the change on the motor mounts myself so it was free there not hard to change the first 3 i mean maybe the transmission one too all you need is a jack underneath it to keep it leveled right.

What tests can I do to test fault code P0193, and code P0183 on my Dodge Nitro

Points to fuel temperature & pressure sensor or sensors. Simple to check, just disconnect and read ohms. May just be a loose connector or wire. Not a very expensive part to have to replace. 25315585-zejmo41uy3tce5x43qikgza0-5-0.jpg

How to remove sprk pug on 2007 nitro

You don't say much about the problem, but here's a trick used for hard to get plugs.

Use a old plug wire plug boot to pull the plug out when it's loose and to re-install the plug. Many times you can get a plug loose but it's not easy to turn the tool, that's where the old wire boot comes in handy. push it on to the plug you can turn it more easy.

I think a motor mount is broken the engine seems to move when you accelerate.

The easiest way to check for broken engine mount is to put one foot on the brake and push the throttle to watch the engine move. the mounts are located on the bottom of the engine
about where the transmission and engine are bolted together. Make sure that you test in foward and reverse, because they might both be broken. `Engine oil leaks on the rubber mounts and softens the rubber on the mounts makes the go bad . Also hard acceleration is hard on the mounts

If just the rubbers in the engine mounts are bad, could just the rubber pack be replaced ?.

You have to replace the whole mount. They aren't that expensive. I suppose you could replace just the rubber, but they don't sell them that way.

My 97 dodge interpid idles way to high.can u tell me how to idle it down. and tell me where to look.

I would try looking under the hood for a vacuum leak. with the engine running try to listen for a hissing sound, or if the engine is to loud to do so look around at the rubber vacuum lines and see if any are dry rotted and or cracked. If everything looks fine it could be the Idle Air Control motor mounted next to the throttle body, hopefully you don't have a cracked intake.

94 geo prizm has excessive engine vibration at idle and when driving

I have two vehicles that are 1993. When they get that old, rubber starts to dry rot. I have had the same problem on my 1993 Dodge Intrepid. My problem lies in the motor mounts and the transmission mounts. After replacing these items, it runs like a champ.

You can visually determine if you motor mounts are dry rotted. Look under the hood and, with a flashlight, look on either side of the motor. There should be a crossmember running parallel to the axles. On this crossmember will be two (one on either side) large rubber pieces sitting inside a metal holder. These are your motor mounts. If they are cracked and split, they need replacing. Also, if you can run your fingers across one and your fingers turn black, it is not oil... it's rubber powder.

Conclusion: If your motor mounts are dry and cracked, then so are your transmission mounts. You'll want to have them replaced by a professional. If installed by a novice or my a "Mom & Pop" garage, your new mounts may split under stress caused by improper installation... a headache you do not want.

Good Luck!

Rotton body mounts

Are you taking about the rubber mount bushings? You can get replacements at your local Dodge dealer, or you could opt for a 2" body lift which comes with new mounts.
