SOURCE: 2004 dodge stratus heater/ac issues

I had the same problem with my '97 Stratus. There is a large resistor in the fan motor circuit that has died and needs to be replaced. It's well up under the dash, behind the glove box if I recall correctly, so unless you are a contortionist and have the tools, have a shop replace it.

How do you back flush heater core.0n 99 4cyl. stratus

remove the heater hoses (both, unless you want to flush it into the radiator, just kidding) hook up (auto parts shop will have a coolant flush kit to hook up to the heater hoses) a garden hose and turn it on, flush both ways.

you need to begin by changing the thermostat. if you dont know how go to an autozone and they will assist you.
