I cannot locate the cabin air filter on a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring. Descriptions I have found and in the owners manual describes a filter door under the glove compartment. Under the glove box dash area is solid plastic, all parts of the air conditioner/heater assembly. Do you know if there is a cabin air filter on this vehicle and if so where I might locate the access to check / change the filter.

Where is the air conditioner (cabin) air filter

2008 - 2012 models should have the access panel behind the glove box if the van is equipped with a filter. Not all models have a filter.
You drop the glove box down by disconnecting the support straps.

Looking for what lights need come on when I turn the key to on in a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring I am thinking of buying. A layout would be nice ...

The main things to look for are your Malfunction Indicator Light (also known as "Check Engine" light), your Antilock Brake warning light and your Airbag warning light. These are the things that will indicate if there are expensive repairs needed.

It might be a good idea to study the Owner's manual a bit so you know what you are looking for and where things are located.

You can download a copy of the Owner's manual for free at the Chrysler web site. Just click the link below and select the year and model.
