Hi Amanda Mccallops, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Are you talking about the flex lines from the caliper to the junction or is it a steel line. Also which side are you talking about?

Probably best to buy the exact replacement line first...break fittings loose first spray with PB Blaster, If corroded, you may need to use vise-grips on both nuts...you MUST bleed your brake system completely after changing any lines or connections. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: hyundai tucson 2006 start overheating out of

Waterpump, seems like a likley culprit. Your Ac compressor belt runs over your water pump. when the ac is on it puts more load on your engine , your water pump may be defected and not able to handle the extra load.

SOURCE: where is backup light switch located on 2006

You didn't say if this vehicle was Automatic Transaxle or Manual Transaxle. No need

here are two photos: One is Manual, the other is Automatic. The manual trans has a separate switch (all by itself), however, the automatic (of both the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder) use the trans range switch to provide power to the back up lamps

2006 Hyundai Tucson 4wd 2.0L experiencing brake fluid not flowing through the left front wheel line, brakes locked up

if it is locked up on the front left side only , it sounds like the caliper is stuck , remove caliper and see if you can squeeze it in with a large c clamp .. may be hard to remove if it is stuck on caliper . replace with rebuilt if it is locked up then rebleed

How can i bleed the brakes on a 2006 hyundai tucson without the scan tool

bleeding the brakes can be done manually with the help of another person. have your helper pump the brakes and hold the pedal until you release the bleeder enough to get air or fluid flowing and then shut off. you can then tell the helper to pump again but only after you have closed the bleeder. do this two times on each wheel starting with the wheel in the rear furthest from the master cylinder. then the other rear wheel then the front wheel furthest from the master cylinder and finally the other front wheel. you should get a better pedal each step. don't let the master cylinder reservoir run dry during this procedure.

Abs brake system

Best case scenario bad vacuum pressure to the brake booster. Worst case bad abs control module or valve body/motor the abs system works by add and removing hydraulic pressure through valves and electric motor. Try using block off plugs at the master cylinder( remove lines plug outlets at master cylinder) check if brake pedal position and pressure is good(if there is no change problem is master cylinder or brake booster/ vacuum) if plugging at master cylinder solved issue repeat procedure at abs valve body after reinstalling lines from master cylinder if your problem returns your issue is in the abs valve body if plugging at the abs solves problem reconnect at the valve body bleed each line one by one testing between each line until you find the problem
