I need to chane the fuse for the check engine light. The fuse box has a diagram but doesn't state which fuse goes with which feature. I need to know what number is it.

Dash lights are complicated as power is supplied by a ribbon cable that also does other features. Check the Light Dimmer wheel first as that is the main reason for having no dash lights..

1 fuse runs both cig jacks in IP fuse box. F1DA 15AMP AND LISTS IT AS A CIRCUIT BREAKER NOT ANY FAST ACTING FUSE.

I changed my radiator on 99 ford Taurus now my battery goes dead someone said to take the ground cable off and use a test light to check the fuses well I did that and the light came on for every fuse so now I'm back at square one

There is also a labeled HORN relay in the fuse box next to the battery... the fuse box is long and rectangular. The inside of the lid has the diagram for both the fuses and relays it contains. The other is a fuse panel under the dashboard on the driver's side. It cover lights and a few other items. The fuses are labeled, but the relays are NOT. One of the relays, controls the emergency hazard flashers. You need to check both places and replace any fuse that states HORN and the HORN relay, to be sure the problem goes away.

fuse 2 in the passenger compartment fuse box, on the driver side kick panel should be the diagnostic link fuse, i believe its the top left fuse,pull it out and look through it, youll be able to tell if its blowm.

check at the back of the fuse box panel the number of the brake lights, ex: FUSES Description 1 brakelight 2 headlight 3 radio

YOU CAN PULL EVERY FUES WITH NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS WONT TAKE BUT 5MINS OR SO YOU MIGHT FIND OTHER ONES BLOWN..SOMETIMES IF ALL FUES ARE GOOD THE LIGHTER SOCKET GOES BAD OR THE LIGHTER GOES BAD

mt radiator fan is not coming on please help with this is it a fuse what would cause this problem

the fuse box itself is usually under the dash on the driver side and the lid of the fuse box should have the diagram of what goes to what but if there is not one then try a Ford dealer for a diagram or get a 12 volt tester and check the fuses that way to see which is which
