Main belt vibretes at 40mph and it rips off.
Obviously have to take a close look at pulley conditions & alignment, as well as tensioner. While the belt is off, check each pulley by trying to spin it for excessive resistance, and or movement, side to side, up & down, feel for grinding like indication bad/dry bearing. Try applying a little force in direction that belt would when it's on, as you rotate pulley, as it may only show or feel it when force applied. Remember, when you accelerate, crankshaft pulls harder on that belt & if tensioner isn't keeping proper tension on at all times due to partially seized or weak, it will allow belt to loosen up & bounce on opposite side from pulling.
