Where are the overdrive sensors located on a dodge ram 2500

I had a 2000 2500 (not diesel) there are two sensor. one on the tranny and one near the rear end

many possible causes,
tires too large brakes dragging???
;possible torque convertor problems,
outside air temp sensor for trans probs
ECM /electrical connection /lockup issues
Trans may need a service?? change oil & filter
Is this a high miler??
Has it sent up any fault codes?

The overdrive gear in the transmission is known to move on the output shaft making overdrive hard to shift into & eventually not at all

All O2 sensors are located in the exhaust manifolds and in the exhaust front pipes close to the catalytic converters.

might want to check the speed sensor, also look for any vacum leaks, since it sounds like it only happens below 50 mph.

I had the same code on my 2001 dodge 2500. The truck wouldn't shift from 3-4. I pulled the trans pan off and replaced a broken spring ($2.00). It is behind a thin plate with 3-4 small torq screws. You don't have to remove the valvebody. Only took me 45 minutes to fix.

I had same problem. A govenor relay had to be changed in the transmission.
