There is a problem with you dynamic stability control IF you did not turn it off. Is there an ABS warning as well? If so it might be a wheel speed sensor

What does a circle with the word LIMIT in it mean?

It's a feature you can set in iDrive that warns you when you go over a specific speed. You can change the limit or disable it in the settings menu through your iDrive.

Thinking of purchasing a 2004 bmw 545i but it has 160,000km on it. Should that be a concern for a vehicle like this

Any car with over 100,000km should fire slight concern. Open the hood to the engine and look for any visible signs of leakage, check the belts for cracks, and make sure there are no check engine/service lights. BMWs and most luxury vehicles protect the undercarriage of their engines with plastic linings, or engine guards. With these in place, it becomes a bit more difficult to find any leaks coming down from the engine. You'll need a stubby-handled philips screwdriver to remove the blue-bolts holding in this plastic lining from under the engine because of how low the cars are to the ground. Unscrew the 6 (I believe its 6) blue screws from underneath and the plastic engine shield should drop, look at the shield and look for any leaks. If you do find some, look back at the engine to see where they are coming from. Red is generally the steering fluid, purple will be the coolant, and black is of course, oil. As for belts, looking from the top of the engine, push down on the main drive-belt, look for minimal-play as you push down and bend the belt a bit to see if you can find any cracks. The grooves on the belts should all be equal, no chips or pits or uneven grooves. Check engine/service lights can be found within the iDrive menu, return to the home screen, push into the iDrive button, and navigate to "service requirements", there you will find the status of any errors (marked with a red triangle) or "ok" signs for all else.

Jaguar 2003 S Type

1 More info needed for disc fault = what are you trying to do to make this disc message appear?

2 The car picture is the dsc switched off - but this message should disappear if the ignition is turned off and on again as the dsc is on by default. If this dsc message keeps reappearing then you may have a fault in braking or sensors that is triggering this message - get it investigated.

I need to connect my blackberry bluetooth to my 2007 BMW 525 I

You need to go to your bluetooth menu in your phone and search for audio devices but at the same time you need to search for the phone in your i drive menu in the buetooth funtion . Be carefull and dont go into communication menu in your idrive press down on the button and scroll down. when the vehicle and phone find each other enter 0000 as the passkey unless you have changed it. Jst bare in mind just because they both have bluetooth does not mean they are compatable. the year of your car determines the level of software in your control unit in the car but updates are available from bmw dealers
