Most fuel reset buttons are located in the trunk of the vehicle, feel around the edges, I have found them in different locations of the truck in various cars...
Hope that helps?

Is there a reset button on a GMC Savannah 1500 van and where is fuel pump location?

There is no reset button if you mean like a fuel shut-off switch or fuel inertia switch. Only used by Ford as far as I know. I've never heard of one on a GM product.
The fuel pumps have been located in the gas tank since the beginning of fuel injection systems back in the 1980's. Some GM cars since about 2000 have a special access plate in the trunk area just above the gas tank, for fuel pump module removal. Previously, the only way to replace a fuel pump was to remove the tank from the vehicle. That is probably the case in your van, but check for an access plate in the floor, just above the fuel tank-just above the small opening in the tank where the pump is removed.

Where is the fuel pump located?

Inside the fuel tank. Check the fuse, relay, and is the security light on constant. Just things to consider before replacing a $200+ pump.

Where is the fuel cutoff switch located for 1998 nissan pathfinder

Reseting the fuel pump kill switch.

Before you reset the fuel pump, make sure to read all of the following instructions!!!!!

            • MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GAS IN YOUR TANK! IF IT IS EMPTY, THE FUEL PUMP MIGHT NOT NEED TO BE RESET, IT ****** ****** MIGHT ONLY NEED TO BE PRIMED, PUT AT LEAST TWO GALLONS IN THE TANK AND SKIP TO "Step 4". ******

1.) Look for an access panel in the trunk, driver's side; it might even be labeled "Fuel Pump Reset".

2.) Open the compartment and press the red button. This should reset the pump.

3.) At this point it might be a good idea to "burp" the fuel tank. This will probably be the easiest thing you do all day! Just pop the cover and unscrew the gas cap, this will release any preasure built up inside the tank. As long as you're in a controled environment, go ahead and leave the cap open until you finish "Step 4". Otherwise "burp" it a couple of times while you're priming the lines.

4.) The next step is to prime the pump. In other words, make sure there is enough gas in the fuel lines to start the car. The easiest way to do this is by turning the key back and forth from the "OFF" to the "ON" position. *** Be sure not to turn all the way to the "START" position until you have performed "Step 4", at least 3 or 4 times. If you attempt to start the car before the fuel pump is properly primed, you will run a serious risk of burning out the pump. This could lead to even more costly repairs!!!

5.) Replace the gas cap before attempting ignition.

6.) Once you have reset the pump, burped the tank, primed the fuel lines, and replaced the gas cap; you should be all set! Go ahead and give it a crank, good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ran my 2000 xterra dry, put gas in the tank and it still wont crank. where is the fuel reset button located?

There is no fuel reset button. You either burnt out the fuel pump relay or burnt out the relay and fuel pump.

I think I am experiencing peoblems with the electronic fuel pump. Is there a way to find out if it is the fuel pump before I take the gas tank apart

You can check for power and ground at the tank.
Also check the fuel pump relay, located on the left
fender. There is also a fuel pump shutoff switch that
shuts off the fuel pump in case of collision. This switch has a reset button on it in case it pops after a
slight bump. The switch is located under the dash to
the left of the steering colum. Hope this helps.

Where is the fuel pump reset button in a 1993 Chevrolet Caprice?

The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank, to replace it u must remove the gas tank from the car, there is no other access, the tank is held in 2 steel straps, u will need the car as high off the ground as poss, use a good floor jack to raise the car, then support the car on jack stands, put the jack under the tank and remove the steel straps thgat hold the fuel tank in, drop the tank down far enough so u can remove the fuel lines and the electrical connectors to tank components, remove the filler neck screws and drop tank out, undo the retainer ring that holds the fuel pump module in place in side the tank and remove the fuel pump, be very careful not to create any sparks, these can catch fire very easy, do the job in an area with really good ventilation, best if done outside.
