Ignition switch or BCM. If the blower can be adjust from low to high after the car is off. The ignition switch is bad. After that I would look at the BCM.

How to defog windows when a/c is running

the ac is the best item to use to demist windows as it removes the humidity from the cabin air
make sure that the vent control is set to re-circle cabin air and not get air from outside
run the ac with the heater control removes fogged up windows quickly
If there is a smoker in the car , clean the interior glass with suitable c glass cleaning agents as the oil from the smoke makes defogging extremely difficult

Locate fuse

That sounds like your ignition switch is bad. It should not only shut the engine off when ignition is turned to off, but when on, the ignition switch should also power up the circuits for the windows, wipers, and dash lights. Replace the ignition switch and it should all work right again.

Cannot shut off wipers

the wiper motor is bad, park circuit in it is supposed to return wipers to rest position when switch is turned off but is not working right. common saturn problem, good luck. the motors can be purchased at parts stores, but their quality is questionable. had same problem with a brand new one from advance, installed by a dealer, went back to a used OEM one. i was not the only guy in the dealership that day with a wiper problem.

My alternator doesnt appear to be charging the battery. I charged the bettery to about 75% and it just died on me by the next day. i did notice that the rear defog light was on solid even with the truck...

when u shut the car off use a volt tester and test the battery your looking for any drain on the battery or the batter may not be able to hold a charge anymore.

Windows fog up on the inside when defroster is turned on

leaking heater core. The coolant level may be low also. What it is doing is fogging up the window with the steam coming from the hot engine coolant that runs through your dash board when the heater or defrost is on. This should be under some kind of warranty on an '08.

Lights flashing on a/c and air recirulate buttons

Sounds like its gone into programming mode. All you need to do is start your van. (if you are unsure what knob or lever is which I am looking in the manual for proper terms) Then slide your temp lever all the way to the left (full cold). Then turn the Mode Control to 'panel' (the one that sends air to your face only). Then turn the 'blower switch' to all the way to full. Now go to the leftmost three buttons. Press the top one (rear wiper on constant) and the bottom one (rear wiper washer fluid). Hold these two for a few seconds. Once the lights come on solid then begin to flash you can let go. The AC will now calibrate. You will feel the air blow out of all the different zones at different intervals and see lights come on and go off. Then after a minute or two the top bottn you pressed will be slowly flashing. This means it has been completed (I actually let it run for 5 more minutes just in case something else started blinking). Press the last flashing button and you are done.

I had the same problem, my boy turned the wipers on when they were frozen to the windsheild, he took it to a repair shop, they told him it needed a wiper switch. when he brought it home i priced a switch they wanted 175.00 for one. did some test on it and came to conclusion it was in the wiper motor, got a used one for 45.00 and that fix it.
