Sounds like a plant question. What kind of plant? What City or geographic area are you located in? Is it an indoor plant or outside? Did you just move it into the sunshine? How long since it has been watered?

I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima the wipers came on by themselves and wont turn off,flashers also came on & the left turn signal turns the brights the headlights wont go off or come on when keys not in it.

Inspect the wiring harness through the steering column, especially where it enters the shaft at each end. Also look at the same wires where they branch out under the instrument panel, especially if somebody installed an after-market radio (I've seen a number of cars seriously messed-up by sloppy wiring harness modifications). Cut insulation shorting to metal edges can lead to all sorts of undesired events.

My long needle pine trees are showing signs of growth but are browning on the ends of the needles and some the entire branches. The trees are 8 years old and approx. 12' tall. What can I do?

Cut off a piece where it is turning brown and take it to a nursery where they sell trees and ask. They should be able to tell you at no cost. If you have a camera I would take pictures as well to give them an idea what is happening.

I have a 15-20 ft. pine tree. We recently trimmed alot off the bottom of it and now the healthy branches on the tree are turning brown. Is my tree dying?

Pine trees seal themselves with sap fairly quick so you don't have to worry. If the needles are turning yellow and dropping it could be experiencing some shock or it may just be dropping needles for the fall.
If the needles are actually turning brown, check the trunk and branches for signs of boring insect damage such as hole with sap coming out.

The holly tree branches and leaves are turning brown and dying what can be done to stop the tree from dying?

  • Hi Elaine:
  • I've found that holly likes shade and does not like drought. Try giving it a really deep watering once a week.
  • How big and established is the tree?
  • Did the problem just start, and what changed for the tree's environment?

Short at connection just before fan speed selection switch

If the wires change to brown colour they are likely heating up and you need to find out why. Is switch faulty, or is the fan faulty?

How to wire a towbar to a renault laguna ? what

Hi there,

If you have the Renault end, I've got the rest. I have the pinouts for 7 wire, 6 Wire and 4 Wire, One of them will fit the bill

Plug Types/Application
7 Way - RV Trailers, Horse and Utility Trailers
6 Way - Horse, Stock and Utility
4 Way - Utility Trailers

Columns are: Color, Function, Mark on the plug.

Seven wire Trailer plugs:

Horse, stock or utility trailers:

White = Ground - 1
Blue = Electric Brakes - 2
Brown = Tail and clearance lights - 3
Black = Battery, aux power - 4
Yellow = Left turn/Brake - 5
Green = Right turn Brake - 6
Orange or Purple (not both) = Auxilliary or Reverse - 7

Recreational Vehicle:
White = Ground - 1
Blue = Electric2_bing.gif Brakes - 2
Green = Tail and clearance lights - 3
Black = Battery, aux power - 4
Red = Left turn/Brake - 5
Brown = Right turn Brake - 6
Yellow = Auxilliary or Reverse - 7

Six wire trailer plugs:

Horse, stock or utility trailers:

Utility trailer wiring to 1998 Dodge Carivan

Trailer end; Red=Brake
Brown=Running lights
Yellow=Left
Green=Right
White=Ground
You will need a turn and brake signal box IF, you have different bulbs for brake and turn lamps. If the brake and turn bulbs are one(red)lens than no box will be required. Thanks, Dana

Where is the PCV located on a 2000 Dodge Durango.

there isnt one in the traditional sense. Just follow the smaller diameter hose comming from the air filter housing, it will branch off at a "t" one end will go under the throttle body and turn to the back of the engine and connect to the intake manifold, the other will heqad to the back also and connect. basically one tube on the driver side and one on the poassenger side but not really a valve

2001 Audi A6 how to bypass the original amp

Hi there,

The stock amp (mounted inside the sub enclosure) found on the RHS of the boot behind the pull out pannel has a red plug with 8 twisted pairs of wires and 3 other wires (pos, acc and earth).

Out of the twisted pairs you will have

RHS Rear Speaker: Blue/Gray +, Gray/Blue -
LHS Rear Speaker: Red/Gray +, Gray/Red -

You will also have a pair of White/Blue and Brown/White which is the RHS input and a White/Red Brown/White pair for the LHS input. Although... the stock amp uses a common earth input as you will see, the two Brown/White wires going into the same plug.

To put in another amp, you will need one with 'high level' input. Make sure it can take a common ground type input. If it cannot then just use a "high level to RCA" converter.

If you are putting in an after market headunit like i did, then you will just need to separate the two brown/white wires at both ends. If you do this you will need to test which brown/white wire at the head unit end is paired with which wire at the amp end. They are twisted together at the amp end but not at the headunit end (unless you cut the cloth tape back far enough).
