Is that a question ? or fact ? If you don't have spark at the plugs I would check the coil or electronic ignition module ,distributor cap cracked? bad wires ?

Accidentally put 6 liters of diesel in rav4 1995 bleed lines drained tank no start fixya guy said tow car to release diesel in injectors and it would start I have auto can would it still work towing

mate, remove spark plugs and crank the engine over for 5 to 10 second periods with a 1 minute break in between (to allow for your starter motor to cool down) and you should be able to smell when they are clear, replace spark plugs and repeat process as necessary.

1989 VW Golf wont's start. Coil loses power, no spark

You are describing a bad ignition switch. These fail in such a way that the voltage to the ignition fails while in the crank position.

Where are the components located on a 1994 E320 Mercedes Sedan?

don\'t understand: cranks fast enough (battery low??) or crank at all??. Need more detail(s);if it cranks at all but slow, you won\'t get a spark;don\'t touch the end of the spark plug wire \'cause it\'d make your butt pucker if/when you get spark!!! honestly.

My car turns over but don't start

If it is turning over strong and not starting it is most likely a gas issue. I would check first to make sure you are getting spark at the spark plug but then go to the fuel pump, fuel filter and the fuel relay.

I have spark fuel but no fire without starting fluid

Backfiring and hard starting is almost always the result of bad engine timing. You don't say what model it is, but various causes are

- timing belt stretched and jumped a tooth (can't readily be seen)
- distributor drive gear replaced one tooth out (easy to do)
- spark plug wire misplaced on plugs

Take it easy with that starting fluid, you don't want blowback in your face

2000 blazer wont start

If you don'nt have spark check for power from coil.If theirs no spark coming out of the coil then replace coil.Just pull the coil wire off the distributor side and ground it against metal and have someone else crank it over while you watch for spark.Be careful don't hold wire by hand you will get shocked.

1998 cavalier wont start no spark

If you have no spark try the ignition module, it controls the spark and if you don't have any and the coil is new its the only other option short of wiring or ecu!!

Why does my 2000 ford expediton not start when it rains

Really bad spark plug wiring can leak enough voltage to make it start hard and maybe backfire.Along with old spark plugs,it might be enough to cause a no-start condition.Next time you get it started(on a dry night,Ha!), look at the engine while running it in a dark area away from street lamps. You may see or hear sparks jumping to ground instead of all the way thru the gap of the plug.
Don't wear any loose clothing or have any hoodie ties hanging from your person when you do this. When it's dark,it's easy enough to get too close to pulleys and other moving gotchas'.don-ohio

I have a 2000 kia sportage that cranks but will not start what might it be?

When en engine won't start, there could be a number of things wrong. An engine requires air, fuel, and spark to start. You need to start by checking for spark. Take out one of the spark plugs and plug it back into the wire. Have somebody else turn the key while you hold the plug up to something metal on the engine, right next to the spark plug hole will be fine. You should see a bright blue spark, if you don't then you probably need to replace the spark plugs. You can do this same thing with any of the spark plugs. If you don't have spark on any of the plugs, get back with me and we'll go from there.

I have compression, gas and air to the combustion chamber, just no spark why won't it start?

If you don't have spark then that is your problem. First try changing the spark plugs and wires. If that doesn't fix it then it is the ignition system. Let me know if the first two don't fix it.
