Check fuse, then run a ground wire to the wiper motor and ensure the ground is good. if the wipers start to work then the motor just needs a permanent ground connected to it. if it doesn`t work then check for power at the motor if you have power then tap the motor with a hammer to see if it starts if so then the motor is bad.

1999 Safari Van. Where can I get a diagram showing how to get the window open?

So your saying you have problem with power door locks? Or when you try to open door, the window is hung-up? Can you explain?

You may have to turn on the key to get power windows to work.

As you can see, the power window circuit breaker won't get any voltage unless the key is on.

My windshild work sporadicly. I was wondering if there is a fuse I should check before I take the van to the shop.

Hi,

Yes there is a fuse so just check that it is tight in the holder, but I would say it is either the wiper switch connection or the wiper motor itself.

Thanks

Pay close attention to the 'fixing leaks' part. You will probably need a heater core (from the sounds of it).
