Can't describe this a bit more. "if not your locking mechanism is frozen inside of door between a pillar and door it will have to be pushed to open from inside of door panel"

Driver side sliding door will not open, power or manual, inside or out. I have took panel off. Replace actuator. checked all connections and bars. checked gas door connection bar. Still no luck to get the door to open.

2001 Town and County. Diver Side sliding door. You can hear the motor running when you try to use the power button to open it. But it doesn't open. It doesn't open manually from inside or outside either. I have taken off the door panel. Changed out the actuator, still nothing. I checked the gas door hook up and it is fine as well.

It seems as though it is stuck in the locked position. and nothing will unlock it. power or manually.

It does sound like the lock solenoid as Raj described below.

Does the manual lock button work on top of the door?? This should make the door unlock without replacing the actuator...:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx4DhTAj...

Year of van?
Long WB or short?
Which side?
Even if you have a power door you can open it manually if the wires are broken.
Is the door stuck or glued(prank) shut? Can you feel the latch working?
Can you get the door lock to work?
Was it starting to act funny before failing?
Cheers

SOURCE: My passengers side sliding door

It sounds like the problem is a failed lock solenoid, which is mounted on the door latch. The solenoid can be replaced separately from the rest of the latch. What you're going to have to do is get the door panel off while the door is closed to access the latch. The panel is held on with push in fasteners. Once the panel is off then you'll need to reach back to the latch and force the lock solenoid to the unlock position with a screwdriver or pliers, whatever you can get it to go with. Once it's unlocked then you can open the door, remove the latch and replace the lock solenoid.

All locks does not open when clicked

would need to see it but i suspect that either the wires are damaged in the rubber boot from door pillar to door or the locks themselves are dry and need lubricating ,inside the door are the solonoids that operate the locks and these often need a drop of oil down the operating shaft mechanism

1999 porsche boxster; when opening drivers side door with key...lock mech spins free with no resistance and door doesnt open

It sounds like it could be the plastic connecting bit that links the lock tumbler lever to the rod that operates the door lock mechanism, has broken or become disconnected. To check, you will need to remove the trim on the inside of the door, after removing any screws and the inside door lever and window winder.
Once you have the inside trim off and the plastic sheet, you will see an access hole for the door mechanism and the lock tumbler. It should be attached to the actuating rod by the aforementioned plastic bit. If plastic bit appears OK try re-attaching it or replacing it if broken. If the lever part of the lock tumbler which attaches to the rod is broken the lock will need replacing.

My driver side sliding door handle broke off. I had locked all the doors since and the lock is jammed. It won't go unlock so I can open it. Really my question is in two parts. How do I get my door unjammed...

open the front door...
now you have to push the locking rod towards the rear so you can open the sliding door from the inside
just follow the B pillar down and use the passenger side as reference of that black rod

2006 Dodge Grand Caravan .... Passenger sliding door lock will not unlock with remote or unlock botton in vehicle. It appears to be moving part way, but will not complete task.

Replace the wire harness/track assembly in the lower door opening. It plugs in behind the B pillar and runs down through the trough to the door. They have a history of failing with all the movement they encounter with the door opening and closing.

Door in back cant open from outside and inside

I'm sure VW had a recall to replace door lock mechanisms around that age, check with your dealer. If the door and window on the same door are not working it could be lack of power to that door, check the wiring harness connection is still plugged in and ok on the b pillar (b pillar is the vertical panel between front and rear door), remove rubber gaitor bellows and check connections.

My 2001 Chrysler Town & Country passenger sliding door won't open

your door panel can come off and you can access internal door locking mechanism from inside car first inspect to see all rods are hooked into plastic sleeves then make sure lock is disengaged by pulling rod towards rear of van it should then be able to be opened easily if not your locking mechanism is frozen inside of door between a pillar and door it will have to be pushed to open from inside of door panel once you do that door will open if you cant make lock work manually once this is done replace locking mechanism or rods accordingly.

1997 Toyota Rav4 doors are locked

over time the grease in the locks etc can become frozen and stop movement when its warmed up a bit it will move better, using the key on the doors every now and then helps move this greas about as the central locking wont move these parts only the switches, replacing the grease after a degreasing locking mechanisms inside the door on the rear of the lock should help choose a grease that can handle low temperatures.

My back hatch door doen't want to open

You need to climb in the back and remove the plastic panel from the hatch to access the lock. There may be a small access door over the locking mechanism to help you avoid removing the whole thing. Could be dirty and sticky and fixable with a bit of graphite lube.
