Code 300 is for a random miss which could be ignition or fuel related.
The problem is not yet bad enough for the engine computer to pick just one cylinder.
run the fault codes to find the problem . Guessing and changing items just costs money and becomes frustrating. With the engine light on it could be more serious than plugs and coil
If you have an Autozone in your area they will hook a scan tool to your car for free and tell you what the code means. if you dont have an autozone most auto part stores will do it for free. if this was helpfull please leave me good feed back
If it is an ignition miss, it should turn the check engine light on and give you a code for which cylinder. A fuel problem or mechanical problem would not always make the warning light come on. Once the engine warms up the O2 sensor gives the computer data to cut back on fuel. You might want to check the computer for trouble codes to see if anything has been stored.
the engine light on means your car has the obd2 code problem you need to check out the code and delete it, i know this tool is helpful for your car, or you can take your car to toyota dealer to read out the code.
The EVAP cannister is part of the emissions system. Excess exhaust runs thru it-purge flow is when it is released. Check all the vacuum lines going to it. I don't you will find a parts listing for a purge flow valve or vent or solenoid. Your light will probably come on again shortly.
You need to check for engine codes to see what is wrong. Bring it to a parts store for a free scan for codes. The check engine light indicates a problem, probably the emissions system, which is causing the poor performance. The parts store will plug a hand held scan tool into the cars diagnostic port (usually located under the dash) and 'read' any codes stored in the cars computer. They can them tell you what code #'s come up, what they mean, and how to correct the problem. If you have any questions after that, post them here w/ the code #;s for further help.
