Open trunk with dead battery of 2002 thunderbird

There is a key trunk access behind the drivers seat.
It's probably your battery. Even if your battery shows that it is close to 12v sitting, I've found that the amperage comes in to play when trying to start it.

Hi, you can jump the car at the fuse box. Just use another car or battery, pull a big fuse out, turn the key on, connect the negative cable to bare metal on the chassis and touch the positive cable to the terminals where you pulled the fuse out while you push the trunk button.

The keyhole for the trunk is located on the wall behind the driver's side seat.

BEHIND YOUR DRIVERS SEAT YOU WILL SEE A PLACE TO PUT YOUR KEY INTO THAT WILL OPEN YOUR TRUNK

I would recommend charging the battery itself. Open the trunk and charge it from there,

FYI: The mechanical key lock for the trunk is behind the drivers seat.

Ge a pair of jumper cables and jump the car connect the neg end coming from the other vhicles neg side of the battery to the alternator or a good ground spot on your cars motor. then put the lpositive side on the the posi connection to the alternator should be red wire on alternator with the other car on, just trry your trunk release, if nothing turen the key to run in your car and try again this should work let me know if it doesnt

Simple solution - your tbird has a mechanical trunk lock behind your driver seat on the face of the package shelf. Just use your key to open it.

Posotive can be found in hood driver side next to fuse box. It is a small rectangle box. You can hook negative to any solid ground on the car.
