SOURCE: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch

typical problem, replace the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) it is located directly opposite of the throttle cables on the throttle body. 2 bolts save the bolts for the love of god SAVE THE BOLTS they are "trilobal" and come verry much in handy later. but it is an easy 10 minute fix and if my memory is correct they are torx head bolts from factory.

Could be a long list of things, including low fuel pressure, throttle position sensor, EGR valve, dirty air filter, and so on.
Is the check engine light on ?
Does it feel like it is lacking fuel, or air ? Is it not downshifting when it should ?

Where is the egr flow sensor on a 2005 dodge ram

I just took mine to the auto part store to find out. From what they told me its the little box on top of the Hemi Engine cover. They said I have to go to the dealer to get the part though.

05 ram with hemi code p0406

Most of the times it is the EGR sensor that has gone bad. It is located in the back right side by the throttle body. You will see a hose that runs from the top of your EGR to the sensor. On your Dodge it is VERY eay to replace.
