Chances are it is also squealing while you are driving, but between road noise and being inside the car, you just don't hear it.
Most likely it is the drive belt and could also be a bad belt tensioner/idler pulley.

use a $5 stethoscope at all engine accessories to find bad bearings
first.
or just a bad tension-er,
why wreck a new belt find true cause and fix that first
then the belt last. (do job 1 time not 3 or more)
If youre just idiling, then it may just be the serpentine belt that needs to be replaced.
