Hi, I'm driving a 2005 Kia rio. Over the past few months i have been able to drive it just fine, occasionally however, I would get stuck at the speed I was at. For example, I wold be going 70 and then I couldn't accelerate any more. If I slow to 15 then I can accelerate past that, like it won't shift. Anyways, I would just reset the battery and the problem would fix itself. I went to start my car today and it choked itself out. I reset and I won't fix it. Sometimes it will start and idle fine but as soon as I try to drive is begins to run rough and try to stall. I just changed the MAF sensor. Wires and plus changed 3,000 miles ago. Any ideas on the issue?

well spend some change and have a simple tune-up.  Plugs and filters and readjust the idle.

P0102 is ---- mass or volume air flow circuit, low input.
Check the wires going to the maf sensor and at the connection. If all seems ok, you might need a new sensor, seeing how it ran a little better when disconnected.

Very common problem is about a dime size hole wearing in the rubber elbow on the PCV valve located on the driver side rear of the intake manifold.

it is possibly the throttle position sensor(tps) malfunctioning. basically the computer or "brain" of the car thinks the throttle is in a different position than it really is and automatically makes adjustments to fuel, air ect.... based on these false readings from the sensor thus causing the engine to react a little different when you expect to have power.
