U have to make sure the ac compressor is coming on,,,then if it is ,u may need freon,,ac gauges ,and some one who can read them correctley is the only sure way of knowing .if it needs freon ,and ac clutch wont come on ,u hae to reset the ac system by disconecting the negative battery cable for about 20 seconds,and reconect,,be ready to shoot freon quickley or it will shut down again,,once u start adding freon it (the ac compressor)will cycle on and off until u get enough freon in it ,but gauges will tell more about that,,DON`T OVER FILL
You probably have leaked out your freon after so much time. Try adding some more Freon if it doesnt stay charged you may have bigger issues.
