SOURCE: driver's airbag light on 2007 PT Cruiser convertable

The first code is for "driver seat track position sensor low". The module detects that the sensor input is less than or equal to 0.3 mA. The second code is referring to the first code. I have no idea what the third code is. Basically you have two different communication systems mixed. The 2001 uses the PCI bus system and the 2007 uses the CAN bus which is much faster. The first code is a CAN bus code and the second is a PCI code. As far as the airbag deploying in the event of a collision, I don't believe it will with an active code in the system. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Both my front windows do

the air bag system runs constant diagnostic checks. It then will display a code one flash two flash and so on.Most common is the battery backup code.Check fuses under the hood for air bag.For your power windows check fuses under hood. Then check your window relay to see if its working.Swap it out for a similar one.Check fuses inside vehicle also.check wire connection for power windows.

SOURCE: how do I check airbag connector under seat the airbag light is on and it failed mot because of it ?

Airbag system failures are difficult to identify and correct unless you have a scanner that can read the codes from both the primary airbag system and the Passenger Presence Module. Since the voltages and currents are low, it is common for corrosion in connectors to cause the system to fail. So get or borrow a scanner which will tell you exactly what is wrong and if it is an open circuit, remove the seat from the floorboard and tilt it back a bit to better access the connectors and clean the pins and sockets with alcohol and a swab. Test the source connections for the proper resistance to ground and voltages using the service manual as a reference. Continue to use the scanner to see if the problem clears up by clearing the code and checking to see if it returns. If the source connector pins are good and cleaning didn't solve the problem, grease them with a conductive grease.

2008 lexus is 250 srs light on and passenger side airbag

You’ll need to get the error code read first, but I’d hazard a guess that the SRS system is holding the fault code permanently till cleared, or there is a subsequent fault.

Airbag light on 2001 sonata, also small modular under pasanger seat broken cover, and under driver seat there is a wonnector that does'nt go anywhere. thank's

First the airbag system can be dangerous to work on and it is usually best to consult a professional since to accidental inflation of an airbag can cause injury, do not cut any wires and disconnect the battery when working on the system.
When the airbag light is on it disables the airbag system inmost vehicles meaning if there is a collision the airbags will not deploy. Some autoparts stores can check codes which is where to start with the warning light on and modular connected check the airbag trouble codes with this information it will be easier to diagnose the system and the cause of your problem. I hope this helps

Airbag light is staying on , think this was caused by water in the footwell both back and front , its a 2004 vectra club estate ive got

How deep was the water , would first check connections on drivers seat before assuming its airbag in steering wheel ,seatbelt pretensioners are on same circuit plug will be on framework of seat or close to underside front and normally have yellow wiring disconnect battery for half an hour to discharge systems unplug connectors under seat clean connections reconnect and check fault ,you may need to get fault read and cleared but should go out

Air bag warning light keeps coming on

There are cables for the Airbag's under each front seat. Disconnect the battery from the car (It's safer, because messing with the cables while battery is connected could deploy airbags and cause a hefty repair bill). The connector/ cables under the seats like to get loose if you move your seats around a lot or if you got the 3-door Version. Get some electrical contact cleaner and clean the connectors and it cables. and assure that they are connected properly. When you connect the battery back on the error should be cleared. If the airbag light comes bag on, check the connector inside the roof of the glovebox, that one likes to get loose as well. It should be a orange or blue connector if I remember correctly.
Best of luck,
Maria

Vw golf mk5 airbag fault wires cut under seat reconnected does it require fault reset

You can reset the Airbag ECU only using VAG or similar diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, even you had repaired first fault wires cut under seat! After all faults erasing from the Airbag ECU the airbag warning light will turn OFF.

"SRS-AIRBAG SERVICE" fault message

Here's a quick check list for most common cost of SRS / Air bag problem.

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger seat belt buckles

Dirty contacts on seat belt connectors (under seats)

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight sensors (under seat)

Seat covers

Weight on passenger seat
(Example: grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.)

I recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity problem.

I DO NOT recommend disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s).

Without the code(s) the dealer will takes "BILLABLE" time to reproduce the problem.

2008 MKz - Remove Objects Near Pass Seat

Do you have anything under the drivers seat? Fords will put the airbag module under the seat, if anything is packed around it, it can cause the airbag light to come on. Remove any items around it and check the connectors are firmly in place.
